We adopted Neptune (formerly Rocky) in August 2012 during the 100K challenge. My husband and Neptune started to bond at the shelter before I did. At first, I was a little nervous as to whether this would work out, having never been a cat guardian, and drawing on knowledge that I had acquired from reading about cats, and watching Jackson Galaxy’s, My Cat From Hell.
But, Neptune has become such a wonderful addition to our home. I look forward to coming home to see him and spending time snuggling with him on the couch or the bed. I have already learned so much through this experience and love this cat so much. He is playful, sweet, and a total lovebug. I’m so glad we adopted him through the Marin Humane Society.
Your organization really helped to ease the transition with all of your services, advice, vet options and cat behavior consultations. Thank you so much!! Neptune has really settled in with us, and we absolutely adore him.
BTW, he has really lived up to his new namesake. One of his favorite games is drowning his toys in his water bowl. He seems to be fascinated with water.
