A tour of Marin Humane gives students a first-hand look at compassion in action!

In-Person Shelter Tours

Our inspirational tours last 60 minutes, beginning with a presentation to learn about all we do, a meet & greet with an animal ambassador, and then a stroll around our Novato campus to see dedication at work.

There is no charge for the tour, but donations are always welcome. Many groups like to collect items from our Wish List or work on a fundraiser before their visit. Check out Compassion in Action for some ideas. We always need small bags of dog and cat food for our Pet Care Assistance program.

We also provide tours for:

  • School field trips
  • Adult groups
  • Scouts
  • Family organizations
  • Individual students who have performed an approved and independent community service project
  • Individual students for school reports
