Super cute Trixie was one of NINETEEN dwarf hamsters brought to us several months ago from an accidental litter. She is a typical, busy little hamster who is ready to find a home of her own - and her adoption fee has been paid!

Dwarf hamsters are very busy little beans, which makes them very entertaining companions. They can be a bit difficult to handle due to their miniscule size and speediness, but we guarantee you'll be content to sit back and watch Trixie's funny antics.

Hamsters thrive when they have lots of space and things to do, so she'll need a large enclosure filled with several square feet of bedding to burrow in, different things to climb, a wheel to run on, and other things to interact with. Luckily, the internet is full of inspiration for tricking out a hamster enclosure!

Hey, did you know it's #tongueouttuesday? Well, it is, and Duffy's celebrating. Duffy is young, high-energy, and a total goofball, but you probably guessed all of that just from looking at his pictures.

Duffy may be young but his manners are top-notch and he loves being around people. Duffy always stays close to his handler and checks in frequently, without ever jumping up on anyone. He's great on a leash and doesn't pull too hard, plus he's totally okay with strangers petting him, so trips to the vet should be a breeze. And get this: Duffy even made friends with an 7-year-old boy! He calmly approached the boy, sniffed him, and gave his hand a gentle lick. The only thing to watch out for is that Duffy can be a little bossy with other dogs, so he's working on his social skills by participating in shelter playgroups.

It's Billie the Kid! Or rather, it's Billie AND the Kid! Billie recently spent some quality time with a staff member's 7-year-old and had a great time. We don't always know our dogs' histories with kids, and that goes for Billie, too - but we can now say he did really well with a respectful and gentle school-aged kid.

Billie also loves playing with other dogs! We took Billie and several of our other large dogs for a fun day of romping around a 100-acre ranch in Petaluma and he had the time of his life. He's a fan of toys, too! Tug toys are always a hit.

Suffice to say, Billie likes to play! But it's not all fun and games. He's been learning lots of new things with us, too! Billie has learned all sorts of good manners like walking well on leash, sit, down, touch, and wait.

Billie is a 2-year-old Husky mix and he's just over 60 pounds. He would love to meet either an adopter OR a foster! Give us a call at 415-506-6225 if you'd like to learn more about Billie or want to come meet him.

Looks like someone is ready for a job! Briar has a hard time reaching the keyboard sometimes but she makes up for it with her super-soft coat and excellent work ethic.

Briar is looking for a full-time position that will provide regular dust baths and lots of room to work. Since chinchillas can live 12 - 20 years, she's looking to make a lengthy commitment to the right employer!
